Using InterWeave’s configurable SmartIntegration Platform, this integration eliminates manual data entry to feed insurance billing transactions to an accounting system. It was a key design decision not to build proprietary accounting functionality into the InsureVue policy administration system. It was important to offer customers the flexibility to use an industry standard accounting platform of their choice and this is why a partnership was established with InterWeave.

• Insurance billing transactions are fed on a scheduled basis into the target accounting system.

• A bi-directional feed allows both invoice/payable transactions to be fed to the accounting system and payment receipt transactions to be fed back to the policy administration system. Front line staff using the InsureVue policy administration system can see status of unpaid invoices without having to access the accounting system.
